Pirates 4 v Ampthill 1 but I have a feeling this could go either way

Doncaster 4 v Bedford 2 - This could be tasty. Doncaster will no doubt be hurting after Friday night and want to make amends but Bedford are strong and won’t go down without a fight

Hartpury 0 v Nottingham 5- Nottingham in top form at the minute and way too strong for ‘Pury

Caldy 0 v Jersey 4- Caldy slowly improving but Jersey very strong

Ealing 5 v Richmond 0- Ealing on their usual demolition run

London Scottish 0 v Coventry 5- Cov no doubt smarting after being steamrollered by Ealing and will be out looking for retribution

Cornish Pirates 4 Ampthill 0 - I can't bring myself to pick against pirates at home.
Doncaster 4 Bedford 1 - Donny beaten by a much improved Nottingham side, and Bedford fading a bit in the second half make me think that the home team will pip it.
Hartpury 1 Nottingham 4 - Nottingham feel like the quintessential banana-skin team this year.
Caldy 0 v Jersey 4 - Is this the longest trip ever for Jersey? Even so, I think that they'll still manage to pull this one out, but be made to work for it.
Ealing 5 Richmond 0 - Ealing has had a shocking number of injuries this year, but thankfully their squad was also super-sized this year. Ealing to win it in convincing fashion to round out the block.
London Scottish 0 Coventry 5 - Could this be the week that Scottish get a win? No. No it won't.

and I visited Ayr, Munster, Ulster & Connacht in the B&I and Tynedale in Nat 1 but back to predictions:
Pirates 5-1 Amps - pirates at home should go nap.
Donny 4-1 Bedford- Donny are a class side who are yet to fire but at home should win a tight match
Pury 4-1 Nottingham Could go either way
Caldy 1-5 Jersey I expect Jersey will field the squad which started against Scottish with a bench full of big lads -
Ealing 5-0 Mond 0 Banker home win at VW but hope Mond make them work for it
Scottish 4-1 Coventry- Exiles to target this one.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Predictions:
Cornish Pirates 4 v 1 Ampthill - Pirates not the force they were and As on the up but I just can’t see Pirates losing consecutive games at home. Tight
Doncaster 1 v 4 Bedford - hate doing this but now I’m playing for points I’m predicting with head not heart. Gut instinct is Bedford are going to nick this by a couple of points. Donny need a big performance on Saturday.
Hartpury 1 v 5 Nottingham - Nottingham looking like the potential surprise package.
Caldy 0 v 4 Jersey - Expecting an attritional game here which will suit Jersey. Reds to grind out a win.
Ealing 5 v 0 Richmond - Easy win for the home team
London Scottish 5 v 2 Coventry - LS have been well beaten in every game so far but they will sense an opportunity here. Coventry on the road are not that great. High scoring.
Donny Knights - best team in Yorkshire

Cornish Pirates 0-4 Ampthill. The As are playing well and they have a good recent track record in Penzance.
Doncaster 4-1 Bedford. Doncaster will be wanting to get their season back on track and I don’t think Bedford’s track record in Yorkshire is that great. Might be wrong though.
Hartpury 4-1 Nottingham. I am expecting a tight match with home advantage showing through.
Caldy 0-5 Jersey. Sorry, Big Eddie, but Jersey have ambitions this season and will expect this to be a five pointer.
Ealing 5-0 Richmond. Not by a cricket score but Ealing should score at least four tries.
London Scottish 0-5 Coventry. I think Scottish will struggle to win anything this year.
Always trying to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Cov's injury list amongst the forwards just grows & grows !.
Anything to do with artificial pitch surfaces ? I am not the only one thinking & going down that route

Cov Kid .  . ask any player whether they enjoy playing on plastic . . . during the Sarries game two players running in open space fell badly Lewington and Maitland, due I believe to the surface, luckily neither seemed injured unlike Toby Venner when playing for Bristol against Gloucs on plastic . . . ACL gone with no contact . ..  Ross Chisholm did the same at the Stone x a few seasons ago!!!!

Plastic distorts the game and should not be used at the top level!!!

Doncaster 5 v 2 Bedford - Try fest going for Home advantage
Hartpury 1 v 4 Nottingham - Notts getting better
Caldy 1 v 5 Jersey - Caldy might spring a surprise but odds against with a very very strong Jersey . . thats said sometimes they dont travel well!!!
Ealing 5 v 0 Richmond - A big big score on the plastic . . will Richmond rest a few?
London Scottish 1 v 5 Coventry - Cov getting better . . but I presume a huge influx of quins . . so who knows!!!

Cornish Pirates 5 - 0 Ampthill... Not all their own way, but Pirates to begin to click, especially at home.
Doncaster 5 - 1 Bedford … Some game this. Very difficult to predict, but i think that the Donny pack at home will be too much for the Bedford backs away.
Hartpury 0 - 5 Nottingham … Nottingham are playing very well at the moment. The unknown is 'who' will turn out for Hartpury, but i will go for the stronger team.
Caldy 0 - 5 Jersey … Sorry Caldy, but Jersey will come and enjoy your hospitality, but will leave with all of the spoils. This is a strong Reds team and I don't think that they will be allowed to ease off the way that Bedford did...too many players fighting for a start.
Ealing 5 - 0 Richmond … Anything other than a convincing home win would be a major shock.
London Scottish 1 - 5 Coventry … LS may come away with a TBP, but I expect Cov to win comfortably, even with all of their injuries.

Good luck all.
Tackle Low!!!!!

Don’t play as I always miss weeks so no point, so won’t give points!

50:50s
Cornish Pirates v Ampthill - Pirates should win, but Ampthill are always difficult and punch above their weight, so wouldn’t be a surprise if they take it after a big score giving them confidence after a horrible fixture list.
Doncaster v Bedford - for me the way Blues are playing (except the week 1 shocker) is if we turn up we can put 50 on pretty much any team… will probably concede anywhere from 20 - 40 in the process. I think we are better than Nottingham, as our scrum has been solid, but then Knights are always a difficult team to beat at home and have a good mix of forward and pacy backs. Knights will be fired up for this one.

Bankers
Hartpury v Nottingham - 2.30pm - Nottingham are probably the surprise team so far, and Hartpury have been poorer than I expected, but the Premiership cup is over for the being, so may be stronger, but Nottingham have looked good with attacking intent
Caldy v Jersey - 3pm - Caldy got a bit of a shock with the pace last week and this week it will be the size. Couldn’t get any different in styles. The Blues pack coped and even had a little bit of the edge in the scrum, this week it is going to have a proper work out against Mr Penalty Try who was the hatrick hero.
Ealing v Richmond - 3pm - Ealing should be going for invincibility this year and few teams will get close let alone win and Richmond won’t be one of them.

The potential surprise
London Scottish v Coventry - 3pm - Scottish with their Quins players back could catch Coventry out here and must be a game they are targeting. For Coventry if they want to be top half this is a must win.
