Rams doing a great job and Canterbury having a rough trot. How close to last years teams are both sides?

I did hear Canterbury have 15 players on the injured list which can hardly help an already dire position

RAMS 2019/2020 differs only slightly from last years team, we did make 5/6 signings in the off season but none were from clubs above National 1 level ..
currently in the team that beat Rosslyn Park at the weekend, we had 6 players who would normally in my humble opinion be first choice starters, so we do have injuries, as all teams do BUT we are trying to build strength in depth, as we realised that Level 3 would be more physical and attritional.
We are still not half way through the season, so whilst we're very pleased where we are at the moment (and Saturday really was a very special day!), there is a long way to go and if you're not at 100% every game, you get found out ...

As the venerable Clive Norling has commented, the Rams side is largely made up of the players who won them promotion last season. The forwards are almost all the same and for the first 4 or 5 games all the back bar one (who was a Nat 2 player) were the same as last season. Injuries take a toll at whatever level you play. Last weekend a true clubman (Mini, Junior and Colt at Rams) got his first run out at Nat 1 and was part of the scrum that won the two pen tries in the last 10 minutes. They are a tight bunch of lads who seem to be enjoying their rugby.
Enjoying life!

Moseley 4-1 Chinnor: Moseley to bring some early Christmas cheer for their faithful
Cambridge 0-5 Richmond: Can't see 'mond being in a Festive mood after last week
Canterbury 0-5 Cinderford: Cinders front three may be a little under the weather, but the other dozen are more than enough even giving home advantage
DMP 5-0 Blackheath: Can't see "Club's" line-out giving them enough ball to play with
Old Elthamians 5-0 Rotherham: Great team with great support but it wont be enough
Plymouth 5-0 Hull Ionians: Can't be easy to travel all that way for nothing, but Plymouth serve a good pie
Rosslyn Park 1-4 Bishops Stortford: Just got a feeling that the BS backs may relish a flat fast surface
Sale 4-1 Rams: Oh, the Shark, Babe, has such teeth, Dear. And it shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has old Mac Heath, Babe. And he keeps it, out of sight
If it looks like a duck & quacks like a duck it's just my rucking luck!

Moseley -5 Chinnor,  BM Struggling
Cambridge 1-4 Richmond,  tight one could go either way
Canterbury 0-5 Cinderford, one way traffic
DMP 5-1 Blackheath, If DMP get some ball they will score tries for fun
Old Elthamians 5-0 Rotherham - tough but quality will tell, Roth low on confidence
Plymouth 5-0 Hull Ionians- Could be big
Rosslyn Park 5-0 Bishops Stortford - Champions elect to get back on track
Sale 4-1 Rams, a massive arm wrestle, again could go either way
Run with it
