What I do not understand is that there are small screens in the technical area that a referee could come over and see if really needed. However everyone (those in the crowd armed with SkyGo) except the TMO (a qualified referee) could see they were at least yellow if not red offences.

Don’t really care about a citing, would’ve preferred the 4 points, which would have been more likely.

Falcons took the maul try opportunity they had, blues spurned theirs and that ultimately was the difference.
As a neutral, that was dreadful. Multiple straight reds missed by the TMO. I got yelled at by the wife for screaming "Penalty only my a**!" At the screen when Flood suplexed the Blues player at the line.

You watch Temm will be cited for punching Flood (Actually thought they’d reverse the penalty), yet Flood who nearly decapitated 2 Blues players will walk free!

If, as you intimate, Temm punched Flood he should be cited and suspended - totally unacceptable these days irrespective of Flood's actions.

We shall have to wait and see, if there is no citing from the independent official then the offence didn't happen, if it did it should be dealt with regardless. I too would have preferred the points.

Watch the incidents, turns out having just watched the re-run it was more of a slap, after almost having his head snapped off his body! About 10 mins in.

Coulson just got a shoulder straight to his nose/forehead, but wasn’t deemed to be foul play at all.  Just on half time.

Having watched it last evening I agree with others who say that it's incredible that Flood got away with it - twice! If he'd gone off, as he should, Blues may well have won the game. Very poor, especially from the TMO.

I quite agree, the on-field officials can easily miss the odd incident - but absolutely no excuse for a T M O.
