The Peterborough Lions v Bournville fixture has just been called off due to waterlogged pitches at Peterborough. Should be played next weekend replacing the South Leicester v Lions catch up game.

Nuns won 21-10 against Street in the local derby. Nuns were the stronger side deserved the win but need to play a little more through the hands instead of pointless kicking.

The match started just in time as they were still putting the posts up just before kick off, which was probably good in the end as by the end of the match it was starting to get quite dark as few of us started to club together to put 50p in the floodlight meter!

Does anybody actually know what is going on with South Leicester??? There is nothing on their website. I've looked on the RFU website this morning and all their fixtures are still on the website, the only difference to last week is that they have now got a 5 point deduction compared to last week.

I believe nothing officially will happen until Thursday. Don't know the reason for the delay but that's what we have been told.

Hi FP, our game at SL next Saturday is still officially on, will know more Mon/Tue, 5 point deduction has appeared as it the end of the 14 day appeal period. As to Fudgepacker's comment about us playing Bournville next Saturday, might happen but the league is supposed to give clubs a 7 day notice period for rearranged games, so both clubs would need to agree the fixture.
You’ve got to get your first tackle in early, even if it’s late

Good to hear from you Westwood and that you're still above ground. That is interesting. I guess you've nothing to gain though by not playing it. Hope the pitch recovers this week although i think there is still rain forecast this week but with any luck it might dry by Saturday. Looks like you're having to regroup a bit currently. Good luck for the rest of the season. HarveyMac tells me you owe him a pint Wink LOL

Obviously not used to playing ankle deep in water after playing on their AGP. So really worried. LOL

Well it's Thursday, South Leicester v PL is a Postponed fixture. The league is showing now that SL have -10 points. Are the Beasts from the East playing the Chocolatiers?
Does anybody know what is going on?

Right so we have it gents. South Leicester have left the league and all results removed. However, that is not the case in our league, too much faffing LOL. So everything as they were, what I have done is rather than add 1 point to everybody I have left the week 8 results as they were apart from Scrumlife who was sitting on a full house apart from the PL v SL result so his have been increased by 3 to make a full house. Having said that there has been no predictions over the last 3 weeks from him. Week 11 results have been quite varied with Star predictors Patch, Stallion and Welsh Wondergetting 5 of 6 Clap Clap Clap. Turn up for the week was probably Burton winning at Kettering with only Club 1870 going heart over head to get that result. Bring up the rear was HarveyMac & Rala 10 with 2 right Ouch. Running man, Scrumlife, Fushibo & Royal Warrior didn't trouble the scorer this week. Sheffields' win at Sandbach now showing that they are looking favourites for the 2nd promotion place but there is still a long way to go to the end of the season. Our league looks like this.

Bin Licker.               67

Thatbloke.               67

One for the ditch.    63

Club 1870                62

Stinger                     62

Friendly prop.          61

Richmids.                59

Welsh wonder.        59

Patch                       59

Bottom OTH.           58

RDH 160.                 58

Stallion                     56

Rala 10.                    52

Harvey Mac.             51

Running man.           48

Scrumlife                  40

Fushibo.                   33

Royal Warrior.         30
