levels 2, 7, 8 and 9 are broken, so they will change levels 3 and 4.

Interesting the comments re the cup being a waste of time which should be binned.

The RFU is in the middle of yet another review of levels 3 and 4 which as I understand it involves smaller leagues, more regionalisation and cups!

What is the point of a cup only involving the teams in a league? If it is more widespread than that then there will be a lot of travelling - I also suspect there will be a number of mis-matches and concessions by the away side - what a farce.

Similar proposals have been booted out in the past years, this time the RFU has taken the status quo off the table and issued limited invites.

Leave things alone - they are not broken!

Pirate coaches will have to work hard to sort out the problem with the teams form over the last few weeks. Like Leicester they have the quality players on paper but struggling to get it together on the field.

Nottingham were very good, and the somewhat experimental Pirates lineup was very disjointed. Several players were making their debuts, a couple after being out with injuries and medical issues. Too may mistakes and a very fragile defence at times meant we made it too easy for Nottingham, but well done to them - fully deserved their win.

great result for Nottingham. obviously they turned up!!. Pirates have just flat-lined recently.

Also a great result from a LS perspective, especially as our record in Penzance is appalling poor. No doubt Pirates will up their game for LS next weekend as they always do.

Pirates v LS is the following weekend. LS could guarantee top-spot in their pool with a win at Nottingham next w/e...

Losing track off all these away games one after the other. Clearly those running this competition don’t having a clue having 3 pool games away one after he other.

To be fair the reason for you having 3 away games is because the Mennaye pitch was relaid and new drainage installed when you should have been down here but the game was switched to the RAG.

Today we had so many playing their first game of the season plus others coming back from injury that I didn't rcognise most of them and it showed.

As for making predictions it's farcical because the teams are usually nowhere near the ones playing in the Championship proper.

Not sure why anyone is surprised really, we're not that good.

Very surprised there were apparently  12 changes from the League match win against Bedford but its the Cup and teams do try different combinations so maybe not such a shock

Brilliant result for Notts. Denying Pirates a losing bonus point and taking 5 themselves in Penzance is a rare and special match for the visitors.
