As Monday is a Bank Holiday I thought I would post the 1st round fixtures a bit earlier than normal CS Stags 1863 v Brighton Dorking v Tunbridge Wells Havant v Sidcup Hertford v Sevenoaks Maidenhead v North Walsham Tring v Wimbledon Westcombe Park v Sutton & Epsom To recap the scoring is based on the league points awarded for each game so Win 4 pts Draw 2pts 4 try Bonus 1pt Lose by 7 or less 1pt To reward success we will also have Predict all 7 games exactly 5pt bonus Predict all 7 results correctly 3pt bonus As usual any observations and comments on matches are welcome but please post your predictions in the same order as the above as it makes the scoring easier With 5 sides new to the league this year and no form from last year and only a few warm up games as a guide all I can say is good luck to all |

Civil Service 1-4 Brighton Brighton will be decent as for CS not sure Dorking 2-2 Tunbridge Wells Close could go either way Havant 5-0 Sidcup Havent will be in the mix at the top Sidcup I dont think so Hertford 5-0 Sevenoaks Hertford look strong pre seasom, 7oaks new to this Maidenhead 5-2 North Walsham. Maids could well be towards to top Tring 5- 1 Wimbledon The slope comes into play Westcombe Park 0-5 Sutton & Epsom Sutton bounce back to Nat 2

Looking forward to the men from Havant playing a higher league up after just missing out for a couple of seasons. it will be interesting how we pitch up against teams with spending power as opposed to us with none..I'm pretty confident we will be a match for most

CS Stags 1863 v Brighton 1-5 CS one of my perennial favourites for the drop. Dorking v Tunbridge Wells 5-2 As I recall, D were a very young side so a year off may help them. Havant v Sidcup 5-0 Home match, new league (welcome back), only one result. Hertford v Sevenoaks 5-0 Attending my first pre-match lunch after 30 odd years, no other result acceptable  Maidenhead v North Walsham 4-1 No clue but a long journey may have an effect. Tring v Wimbledon 2-5 W to edge it. Is Tom Newton still playing? Westcombe Park v Sutton & Epsom 4-1 Not sure but going with a tight home win. Good luck to all. It's good to be back!
