Stourbridge 60 - 8 Broadstreet

Great performance and a welcome display after last seasons challenges.

Does that actually mean discussion that might change things or just those 4 clubs being upset?

It would only change if they appeal to the RFU and the RFU finds they made a mistake in terms of mileage. But given they admit there are going to be clubs that are outliers, I think the odds of the clubs being successful in an appeal are very slim.

Yes even more of an West Midlands slant than last year. North Midlands sides have been playing in the North (Paviors and West Bridgford last season, Leek this season). Now the two more South Easterly teams (Oundle and ONs) join Bedford Ath in South East league.

Only Derby and Syston left in league from traditional East Midlands counties (Burton and Broad Street bordering on the region!)

Does anyone know if the leagues below in the midlands region have been announced yet? (Just hoping to see a sneaky peak of Nuns and the other local sides) Smile

Sadly we forgot to bring our high level of skill on Saturday and Nuns seemed to want it a bit more which has been rare for us this year. Nuns played well and sadly injuries and unavailability also finally caught up with us. Looking for a big reaction on Saturday at home to Derby.

The high level of skill deserted us on Saturday sadly! Fair play to Nuns, they appeared to want it a bit more and sadly injuries and unavailability finally caught up with us. Hoping for a reaction at home to Derby this week though.

What a choice, a flowing game with a high level of skill, or Wales v England.

I was keeping an eye on the score as was at Wales v England. Excellent result and great to see the players and board all behind the club. Bromsgrove, Burton and Oundle to come. Think we can beat Bromsgrove at home, hopefully beat Burton as should of won at home to them and then do the double over Oundle to finish above Stoke Thumbs Up

The seasons not over yet Rich. Storming performance from the Nuns to dominate a game with flowing rugby. Just like the old days. The players are all on board, and will give it their all till its not mathematical possible. Elmos 250th appearance and the win were good reason to celebrate. COYN.

Yes Danny was sacked weeks ago - Elmo has been in charge.

Latest I've heard is that it's scheduled to start 1st April with finals first weekend of May.
