Marlborough are a class act and will more than hold their own having been promoted last season. Their squad has been together for several years now, and includes a number of Army regulars in the starting XV. Their back line particularly was outstanding last season, running in tries from everywhere, good luck to those taking them on!

I wonder what effect the Camberley DOR leaving will have on them? Will it effect there performances?

Tunbridge and CS stags will be another tough two oppositions I imagine.

If Havant are not strengthening, will they have the depth to compete with the big spenders?

I'm sure Will and Oz our coaches will be on the look out for someone , we also need the few players in our pack to get over their injuries especially with JT out for a considerable  time with the injury he picked up the the papa John's cup final !

Tunbridge Wells (short for Royal Tunbridge Wells) are always a good match for any team

At the London Welsh AGM, it was stated that we're aiming for 2 more promotions if practical and affordable.

Note our caveat "if practial and affordable".

Just seen Camberley has signed another professional player as a coach! How do these clubs afford it?!

I don't think professional players get paid a huge wage for their second job as a coach. Two evenings a week, obviously not available on matchdays, more likely to be doing it to build up some experience for their post-playing career.

Its well known that Camberley  have always had plenty of cash to splash, they are not a CASC club so are not bound by the strict paying player rules also pretty sure they are fortunate enough to have a very wealthy fella who funds them 💰

Always makes me chuckle when folk go on about player payments as if they are getting hundreds of thousands per year. In reality it’s a few quid. When you consider the commitment of players any payment made, that is within the budget of the club, is entirely justified imo.

I notice it is usually the same folk who go on endlessly about player payments at clubs other than their own.

Okay, let’s stop talking about money for half hour!

Season predictions?

Who is going to be the top 3, who is in a relegation battle?!

Do we know how many up & down this season?
Top 3 LWelsh, Camberley & Havant, in no particular order.
CS Stags & Horsham will trip a few up along the way.
Bottom, no idea ask me again at Christmas.

Jealousy, drink and unpleasantness in equal measures I would say. He really doesn't create a very good impression of his club does he?

He's just having a bit of fun at the moment.
Come September he will be full on, but just as funny due to the HSB😉
