Full agreement.
Sadly off to the Prem now though, along with Bainbridge.

Not sure can really claim Rich Lane for a spot given he’s only played 2 games!

From Blues, both half backs (Day and Maisey) should be in with a shout, along with French on the wing. Frost probably the pick of our forwards but more likely our backs would feature. Booj is undoubtedly the classiest 12 in the league, although hasn’t been as good as he was his last couple of seasons before joining Wasps. Will give it some more thought tomorrow to actually pick a full team. Can’t argue with the Jersey props though.

As a specialist finisher, I think Jake Garside gives Burns a run for his money

Obviously we all favour our own guys who we see play week in week out, but AJ Can't and Robin Wedlake should be there IMO.

I won't comment on other clubs, as I've seen their players twice at most. In terms of Ealing players, I actually would put fewer forward than in some previous years. Tizzano has had a fine early year, but has hardly played in the last couple of months, same for DeWee. Alun Walker has been vital in the last two months with other leaders for Ealing injured. However, the players that I'd put forward from Ealing based on their full season would be:

10. Craig Willis
15. Jonah Holmes - Just amazing to see what he is capable of, and has been great in any of the positions he has played.

The Rugby Paper named their XV today, having canvassed regular correspondents. I was among those asked, and submitted a Jersey-free selection of the best players I'd seen from other clubs. This was the eventual TRP selection - even with 46 league tries scored by back-three players, it's still hard to break the image of the Reds being all about the large forwards!
  1. Grahamslaw (Jsy)
  2. Clarke (Jsy)
  3. Longwell (Jsy)
  4. Tyas (Cov)
  5. Cook (Jsy)
  6. Tizzano (ET)
  7. Uzokwe (ET)
  8. Kelly (Donny)
  9. Chudley (Cov)
  10. Pellegrini (Cov)
  11. Adamson (Blues)
  12. Holgate (Jsy)
  13. Rigg (Cov)
  14. French (Blues)
  15. Cant (Pirates)

If I was picking a Championship Player of the Season from that list I would go for Cook or Grahamslaw from Jersey although the latter is surely destined to play No8 rather than loose head. Imagine that lad running at defences if he didn't have to exhaust himself pushing in the scrum first.
