Yes it's a strange one with Sale, quite surprising results especially at home which is normally a bit of a fortress. It is still very early in the season though.
Although from what I can see they are only actually without 2 DR they had from Sharks last season - Tom Curtis at 10 who is a quality player and ran the show last year, and the giant Ben Bamber in the second row. Aside from that it's a very similar pack and backline, with the exception of James Robins at 10/12 who is injured. I did see that they have Harrison Crowe in on loan from Caldy, big blindside flanker who was a mainstay in the Caldy side that gained promotion. Sure it won't be long before The Dogs start firing.

I'd imagine it's the lack of their DR players due to the RWC and the Prem / Champ cup.

Forget the Birmingham and the Titans - what a lot of marketing bs At this rate we will be calling every club by a silly name and playing pop music after every score Club FC 5 Darlington 0 Club’s experience as a football club useful Cindy (my luver) 5 Sale FC 0 What has happened to Sale? Plymouth 5 Leicester Lions 0 A step too far for the Lions - very early coach trip not advisable - much better to fly to Plymouth and stay at the 6 star Plymouth Hilton Rams 5 Park FC 0 Even the most one eyed Park supporter like me can see this coming Richmond FC 5 BS 1 Richmond might actually have stopped experimenting with player rotations? SP 4 Chinnor 1 A close home win |

Ronan Foley maybe a ‘professional’? Anyone good enough to be capped by Leinster in the back row must be a serious player?!

And it seems it took Sam Hill just 5 minutes to score a try on his debut.
Although it is very early days, I'd expect Blackheath to cement their place back in Nat 1 this time around. They won't want to be dropping down to Level 4 again any time soon, and I'm sure all that ex Prem experience will help with that.
