Well that was  a hard fought brushing battle between two highly committed teams. Some fine young talent in the Sale back line but they just lacked the cutting edge of wingers Rhys Henderson and full back Andy Riley and the decisive kicking of Warren Seals at 10. There was not much in the game. Sale were very good and street wise  at the breakdown an area where Sedge had problems with, and the referee too. I have to point out the man in the middle had a very good game indeed. 

Sedge forwards just had too much for Sale and that combined with that cutting edge Sedge had, it was the difference on the day. 

Good to see Sale back at Park Lane. A large crowd enjoyed the day and the enjoyment is still in full swing.
