BS broke away in the 1st half to score an excellent converted try. Chinnor recovered to lead 12-7 at half time. They spent most of the 2nd half in opposition territory but to BS credit they somehow kept the amber wave at bay and with 15 minutes to go the game was still there to be won. The effort from BS however eventually took its toll and 2 late Chinnor tries sealed the game despite being down to 14.
I've just looked at the table...so many teams with 7 wins and 3 losses. |

Bit of a delay on The Common due to an injury - spinal board brought on whilst the casualty is attended to.

Sedge 26 (4) Sale 11 (0) Full-time
Well that was a hard fought brushing battle between two highly committed teams. Some fine young talent in the Sale back line but they just lacked the cutting edge of wingers Rhys Henderson and full back Andy Riley and the decisive kicking of Warren Seals at 10. There was not much in the game. Sale were very good and street wise at the breakdown an area where Sedge had problems with, and the referee too. I have to point out the man in the middle had a very good game indeed. Sedge forwards just had too much for Sale and that combined with that cutting edge Sedge had, it was the difference on the day. Good to see Sale back at Park Lane. A large crowd enjoyed the day and the enjoyment is still in full swing. Well played Sale enjoy the long journey home Have a great night all All the best ST
