Saracens only need to beat 2 or 3 teams, they will have enough fire power for that. The rest of the league will just enjoy the boost to the coffers with home ticket sales

Just noticed on the beeb that the Gloucester chief ecex says their wage bill is around £1m per month.

If this is the case their wage bill is around £12m per year.

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the salary cap £7m.

Seems to me it's not just the fez heads who are playing fast and loose with the regs. If they do stick to the £7m salary cap it means all their other salary expenses come to over £416,000 per month which does seem rather excessive. If this is the case then the £13m from CVC won't last long.

Salary cap is players wages only. It does not include employers’ National Insurance and pension contributions, or salaries & NI payments and other on-costs for coaching, medical, administration and management staff. £1m per month sounds about right.
