No panic yet.

Leagues were announced end of May last year with fixtures a fortnight after that.

(At least in South West Rugby)

L6 was published at the same time as L3-5.

Exactly - while many might like to know who their fixture is the day they play their last game of the previous season, but that's not realistic. Start dates have already been circulated, so clubs know when their league commitments commence and can plan training & pre-season around that date. Hard-working volunteers might even dare to have a tiny bit of down-time during May. If they hit the 'by 14 June' target, there should be 12 or 13 weeks' notice of the first league game from when the fixtures are announced, which is plenty of time to plan a game...

Mark, I hope London Welsh don't have to play 225 League games next season, like you did this ;-)

Though for some fixtures, travel/hotels needs to be planned and in certain cases, the earlier the cheaper, the better! Big smile

But certainly for me, its just the  wanting to see what's to come next season to get rid of some of the off-season blues!
