Bedford also sign hooker Tommy Herman from Olney. He has been training with the Blues for the 2nd half of the season and played the Mobbs match against the Army (where he was the best player on the field). So this one was expected. Big step up but he’s definitely got potential.

Decent enough. Usually used at full-back, but very limited chances behind Brown and Wilson. A bit prone to errors with the biggest sore thumb being against Jersey last year at the BPA when he failed to collect a hopeful kick in the 80th minute, which led to a Jersey scrum and ultimately a penalty try giving Jersey a share of the points - which they didn't deserve on the day, imo. He'll be fine though.

Ealing sign 3 from their academy to first team contracts. Josh Taylor, Geordie Gwynn, and Darren Low. Taylor looked very good against Bedford in the final match. All 3 have U20s experience for their countries.
