My pc tells me that this site does not have a current certificate and is therefore deemed not safe, is anyone aware/doing anything about it?

It's because the site doesn't have a SSL certificate and therefore it's URL starts http, not HTTPS. It doesn't mean your computer is under threat, and besides, you aren't doing any money transactions on the site.
