Watched a YouTube video of Lions v All Blacks in 70s. Scrums set in under 15 seconds and ball, usually, down the middle.



Ah, the good old days, where the man in the middle was an irrelevance and scrums and lineouts were a jungle (and hookers hooked) and (wingers threw in at lineouts) ….. different game now and not always for the best ….
