Ealing played a very smart match today, using lots of box kicks in the awful, awful weather. They also played with more heart today than I've seen in a while. A really nice win. I will say though that they got incredibly lucky a couple of times with Sir missing extremely obvious (to the camera) knock ons. Still, they got the job done. A much savvier selection than last week.

Agree with that gerg. The weather was atrocious and the pitch very heavy, but Ealing did a professional job and were just a bit too strong in the second half. Hard on Pirates not to get even a losing BP as they put in a hell of a shift.

Very frustrating after an impressive first half. The boys will be mortified to have not got at least one point but Ealing played a smart second half, culminating in an impressive 50:20 from a free kick late on, leading to their second try.
Lost line outs and a few errors in the awful conditions cost us dear. Obligatory moans; Ealing 9’s box kicking was impressive but the time he was allowed by the ref was ridiculous, and the offside line was followed only in the breaching.
