I was at the game in Jersey on Saturday and in my opinion luck had nothing to do with the result . Jersey were against the wind and Ealing had the majority of ball. The Jersey defence was outstanding and stopped the attack at the gain line and several times knocked the big guns back . First half I watched from the clubhouse side , mid pitch. I chose to watch the second half from the end of the pitch in the far corner facing the extreme wind and driving rain conditions. 
In my opinion the Ealing team played their best half of rugby I have ever seen. luck had nothing to do with it 

Good to see you briefly pre-match No7, hope the rest of your trip went well. Agree that Ealing played superbly after the break and were deserved winners. This was, in my opinion, accompanied by a couple of slices of fortune: the 41st-minute clearance kick by Mitchell landed exactly where he'd have wanted it to & could well have bounced to the left of the corner flag and set up 5m attacking lineout, as referred to above, but it went the other way, with an 80m swing + loss of possession; and soon after that the wind did die down a bit. I'd like to think those factors could be recognised while at the same time repeating my earlier congratulations to the better side over the 80 and making clear my view that these moments weren't what caused the visitors to win.
