Copying my post from the other thread:

This is my first post and it is a shame that it is on this subject.
It is now time for all clubs below the Prem to take their business and league structures elsewhere. There is no future with the RFU and Prem.

Absolutely agree but maybe that is what the RFU have been angling for all along - so they don't have to deal with all the naughty little boys who really don't matter anyway

The Old Boys Club have grown fat and lazy on the cheese and wine in the Twickers hospitality boxes. Now its no longer about promoting and growing the sport by letting new clubs come up to the top table, its about protectionism of their assets that they surrendered control of to the money men long ago.

You will be pleasantly surprised to know that pre-pandemic there was some exploration of acquiring some land adjacent to the main road outside the ground to expand the parking options (just a couple ofacres / perhaps three but it would have improved the parking situation significantly)- perhaps that will open up again now that we are reverting to "normal".

I can only say that I am unsurprised, but disappointed by this result. I'm not sure how Castle Park can host U20's and Women's internationals, and how Vallis way can host the Premier 15s final, but not be good enough for Premiership Rugby. At the very least, the winner (if not allowed promotion on ground criteria) should be awarded the money that they would have received via promotion to improve their grounds. Overall though, given what is happening in Ukraine, I can't muster the same sense of rage on this that I would have a week ago.

ha ha ha now that’s funny

You are talking about the RFU that are trying to drain every penny out of the Camp and National league rugby to feed the top table

Exactly my thoughts. It’s annoyed me and I think it sends out the wrong message but the club will survive and thrive, it’s not the end of the world. I’ll get over it.
