Unusual red card at the Mennaye yesterday after half an hour's play - LS replacement warming up in corner, Pirates f-h fires a 50:22 kick down there, with ball rolling into touch, pursuing CP player tries to grab ball and take quick throw, LS sub apparently kicks it out of his hand and is shown a red for interference...

To have the resolve to come back and keep going after the first half 38 to 0 is highly commendable. I was disappointed with Ealings second half when we slipped back to last seasons habit of allowing the opposition to score at will. I hope Ben Ward addresses this and realises that we will lose games if we carry on with this attitude. It should be an opportunity to solidify the defence and take pride in keeping the opposition from scoring.
