Really hope Monty has developed hugely since his last stint. He was just out of uni being lightweight and was one of the weakest props we have had. His interview has said he has bulked up, which he certainly needed to and with a couple more years of experience hopefully we’ll see a different player.

Feels like a big step up from 5th tier French rugby to Champ. Hopefully one of the 7s we’ve taken a punt on is able to fill the big hole left by Joe Howard. Like the other blues supporter, surprised to see Monty Royston back. Hopefully he’s developed over the last couple of years. I thought we would see Beltus Nonleh here permanently but appears he’s gone back to Sedgley Park. I expect Bedford to sign a centre then would’ve thought that would be us done.

We have now replaced the 10 we have lost so I wonder if we will get another centre as Worth played there for Tigers as well as Full Back. It will be interesting to see which Saints youngsters are announced.

Saints recently need their under 18s intake. 8 lads in total. 3 centres, 2 locks, 1 FB, 1 SH and 1 Back row. So if Bedford are light a centre then that might be with these lads in mind.
