Indeed they would, but that is a national league, not a supposedly regional one. |

A lot of mileage. Although if/when Camborne do get promoted to Nat 1 like they very nearly did last season, they would have to contend with even more time on the road heading to the likes of Leeds, Rotherham, Sale, along with a few trips to London and Kent.

In Nat 2 W, Camborne's opening match is just up the road at Chester. A 700 mile round trip!
Followed by three away trips to the well known western county of Leicestershire. At least it gets the long trips out of the way before winter sets in.

The National League fixtures have been published on the RFU site now.
Nat 1 fixtures here: I think Sale v Rotherham is my pick of the opening matches. Looking forward to the new season. In Nat 2 W, Camborne's opening match is just up the road at Chester. A 700 mile round trip!

I believe there is a plan for the Lions to run a supporters bus to all the away games next season.

NCA say they are currently updating their website and refer you to the RFU clubs page which still shows last season’s National One results.

I'd forgotten just how competetive National One has become - is there a salary cap?

The National Leagues site usually puts up the new league tables in alphabetical order and clear the old league tables into the archive just before the announcements, well nothing done yet................

I'm sure September will come round quickly, looking forward to it. Have all National 1 fixtures been published anywhere yet?
RM2 - your run of fixtures during Nov into Dec looks tasty. Moseley, Albion and Rams away, with Blackheath at home thrown in for good measure too. But then again there are no easy matches in Nat 1.

The Fixtures were released on Saturday evening by the NLR Secretary to Clubs' NLR Representatives - the normal route! I suspect that as it is the weekend, the social media and website will be updated on a working day - tomorrow. From memory two years ago the RFU does the flight bookings for 20 people per Club (18 players as per Regional 1 plus 1 coach and 1 physio). I shared the Fixtures with our Club Committee, the DoR, the 1st XV Manager and the General Manager. They will then start the posting process and the booking process. As NLR is the Governing Body for NL Clubs with powers delegated from the RFU, when these Fixtures are released they are official.

Most clubs have now shared their own fixtures on social media, although as you say, they aren't yet up in an 'official' channels.

Not particularly having a go at you WB, but I have concerns about this time of year... On what basis have the fixtures been issued, and to whom? Are they officially released? One imagines not, or they'd have been posted on the NCA website/social channels. Or have they been sent to clubs ahead of being officially released to assist with advance planning etc? If so, were clubs told "feel free to share with whoever you like", or asked to keep them under wraps? Imagine clubs in N2E particularly will be scrambling to arrange travel eg flights to Guernsey, before supporters zoom in and bag places on the planes that the travelling club might wish to book for their players...
