From memory, I seem to recall that the Autumn International period does throw up some unexpected results, due to some clubs having players that skive off from their usual Saturday afternoon jobs, to watch their national sides in action. Can anyone from Wimbledon throw some light on this ? As for some reason I think it happened to them before ? I may of course be totally wrong 🤔
