You have to go a long way to watch a better rugby game at this level than Sandbach v Newport well played both teams

Had it all didn’t it? So many momentum shifts, 80 minutes went far too quickly. A very good sized crowd too!

Agreed this was a cracker and on balance Sandbach's dominance up front earned them a deserved win. However, the score doesn't tell the full story does it. How Newport kept themselves in the game when down to 12 men either side of half time (thanks to 3 quick fire yellows) I really don't know and they deserve great credit when lesser sides would surely have folded. A less fickle referee and who knows but that's life - well done Bach

Agree great game at Bach yesterday .crowd had to be the biggest I have seen in last few seasons both home and away .several hundred I think.shows what you can do when u invest in infrastructure and promotion locally.

You have to feel for the players at South Leicester who have stepped in. Clearly playing above their current ability and it must get demoralising getting absolutely thrashed every week. Is it likely they'll be able to see the season out?

It is pretty well known (unless someone lives in a cave) that Bees folded, Moseley had a new DOR and there was a plethora of players available.
Right place, right time. Last season we had a good young squad. Some of the players that became available were the experience needed to complement what we already had.
Promotion or not Bournville have as you will see invested in its facilities and infrastructure so that we can continue to run 3 men’s sides, women’s and mini and juniors.

Minor correction, S1ggers. Bees haven't folded. Simply returned to an amateur status. Players exercised their right to seek payment elsewhere for their services.
Life is a game but rugby is serious!

Fair play to SL hope they can keep going but i fear for them it is a long old season!
Fair play to BV if in the light of most evidence to contrary they think it is sustainable!

Agreed thought this might be Pavior's having just been promoted and not thrown a load off cash at attracting players.

Hi guys, sorry for the tardiness of posting the league this week, travelling is just a bit more tiring than I'd thought however here we are with the league this week. Epic tight game at Sandbach this week and no doubt 3 yellows against Newport didn't help their cause. Bromsgrove win at Broadstreet that trip most people up this being the 2 games that failed for most people. Our Star predictor this week was Bin Licker with a full house Clap. Bringing up the rear Harvey Mac with only 4 correct. The full house, takes Bin Licker to the top of the league. Royal warrior failed to trouble the scorer this week.
