Billingham maintained their unbeaten record with a comprehensive win at home to Carlisle, whilst chasers Macclesfield and Harrogate also won but in much closer contests. Sandal came away from a difficult game at Morpeth with the points in a tight game.Lymm and Blaydon both recorded decent wins and there was a war of attrition at Alnwick where Blackburn got the only try of the game leaving the north east with a narrow 5-3 victory.
