At the half-way stage I see no reason to alter my initial opinion. Rotherham will top the league at the end of the season.
With 2 clubs going up, as much as they may protest, I would say Hull will join Roth in Nat 1 next season.
Get up there, get on with it and spend some money!!

Merry Xmas and a happy New year to all.

I think there is only one up from each league, with one or two down plus Old Elthamians.
However, I am not sure if OEs will take up a place in National 2 SE - or whatever it gets called.

They seem to have kept mini and your rugby going, but I am not sure if there is adult rugby being played at the college.

Yorkshire Rules!!!!!

I would just like to thank the sizeable contingent from West Yorkshire who made their way over to our Christmas meal today.

Sadly it was no one from Huddersfield, however it was great to see so many great and good friends from the ‘real’ Otley RUFC to make the day magic.

Massive effort all from the West Yorkshire ‘Tykes’ and thank you for your support today,

All the best

No way OEs should be allowed to re-enter at N2 level - they should be banished to the lowest level in Kent

That's another dent in Stour's year.
You can't afford too many more if you want to go to Plymouth, Darlington & Taunton etc next season.

I get your point but it really can’t be about next season can it.
It’s about a group of people achieving success
Take that away and you don’t have sport nor any point.

Very true. You must have ambition.

Having tasted National 1 rugby, on a number or occasions, I can say that in the main it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and, I would not change a thing, except maybe more assistance with travel expenses from the RFU.

We made good friends at a number of Nat 1. Clubs, like Blackheath and DMP. We got used to the early starts but some of the return coach trips did seem never ending.

As I said to Hull's committee yesterday, Go for it! (They went 'white' at the thought!).
