Well we come to the end of the 2021/2022 LSE1 and thanks for everyone, 25 in total,  who have stuck at it for the season

Firstly congratulations to Sevenoaks being crowned Champions and for Dorking as runners up with both being automatically promoted. Although nothing official yet I hope North Walsham join them next year but that is down to the RFU when the new leagues are annouced.

I was at Tunbridge Wells on Saturday and after a tight first half Dorking turned it on in the 2nd to run out comfortable winners. The pitch was rock hard and the wind made it into a dustbowl but both teams put their all into a bruising battle.

This weeks winner was Big Chief with 29 points which is a great score given we had the first 3-3 score at Wimbledon of the year.

Turning to our own comp, this years winner and longtime leader is Ghanian Eagle with an impressive 619 which equates to an average of nearly 24 per round.Star ClapClapClapClap

Surrey Rugby came on strong as the season ended and is runner up with 611ClapClap

Thanks for everyone who particpated and in particular those who added a bit of context to their tips and unlike other leagues the banter on the whole has been very amusing and friendly.

I will hand the mantle over now as will be following National 2 rugby next year but I have enjoyed doing it as it was very much in the spirit of Rugby when i started playing 45 years ago at school and then Ealing.

Just to echo what others have already said to say thanks Shamrose for a well organised season of tipping.
.
Also congratulations to Dorking, Sevenoaks and hopefully North Walsham, so as to give the rest of us all a better chance next season, Cry

The older I get, the better I was.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Sevenoaks,Dorking and North walsham
The table doesn't lie and all three have deserved their top three standings
From our point of view it has been a superb season, going into unchartered waters of a league above and finishing 5th is a credit to Will, Oz and everyone of our lads ,the Havant fans have enjoyed being part of it👍
The forum this year has been fun especially the prediction league and putting a few faces to names at games is always good and meeting old friends for a beer or seven never disappoints
My rugby fix ain't over yet as a few of us are going to HQ on saturday to watch the Army Navy game, got a feeling that could get very messy🍺🥴
Have I been too nice in this post??.....I'm  sure I'll  find something to moan about soon😁

Well played Havant and good to visit you again this season after probably 10 years apart. Was impressed with your set up and re-development of your facilities which shows the off field  progression you have made, equalled by your performance on the field. Good luck for next season. By the way enjoy HQ on saturday and look out for a certain Rory Mitchell. I am hoping he gets selected 8 for Royal Navy. We at Dorking have missed him this season since he joined Royal Marines. A product of our minis and youth, if he gets in, this will be his opportunity to show his quality. Just my view and hope for him.

FEZ ANT PLUCKER
Will keep an eye out for Rory Mitchell
We are lucky enough to have four current players playing on Saturday
Army 2 Pete Austin
Army 5 Ross Parkin
Navy 11 Ben Chambers
Navy 20 Gav Hughan
Although Gav wont be with us next year ..going back to Scotland!...the unmentionable things that man managed to get into a pint glass shall remain unmentioned😬
Will look with interest how your lot fair next season, hope you do well as it will be a measure of the standard of level 5
