Im creating a new app for grassroots and semi pro rugby. I am just wanting to find out whether people would prefer a social media feed style system or just emails highlighting roles available near them? Any other suggestions are wanted too.

Unused to work in IT recruitment when job boards came into existence
Big thing will be to get critical mass of vacancies to attract enough visits to then become self sustaining. I would likely go social media style with option of email notification if that fits your tech Also to drive visitors ensure you cover women's rugby and push it out to the uni:s with decent female setups but not tied into wpl sides ( places like Bath and Newcastle)
