It was a privilege to be at The Avenue yesterday to watch Wharfedale beat Chester 39-22 in one of the most enjoyable games I have watched this season. Wharfedale’s policy to run everything was a joy to watch and they were rewarded with a hatful of tries in the sunshine. Chester added to the entertainment with four tries of their own. A tremendous final home game and I am already looking forward to next season to see how all the new (and locally produced) young players develop.

indeed cherub a lot better game than the previous home match against sheffield tigers they looked sharp and focused and were worthy winners
