Chinnor 2-5 Nottingham - could go the other way but Nottingham are a dangerous team in good weather
Hartpury 5-1 Ampthill - Hartpury will have enough for Ampthill as they keep the pressure on for 2nd
Bedford Blues 5-1 London Scottish - Blues in theory have completed the hardest games, but traditionally have slipped up against the lower teams. I don’t see this happening here, but Scottish to get 4 tries
Caldy 0-5 Doncaster Knights - Knights to continue their recent good form
Cambridge 0-5 Ealing Trailfinders - Ealing to get back to winning ways with a demolition of Cambridge
Coventry 2-5 Cornish Pirates - could go either way but I fancy Pirates to edge this one

A fantastic second half performance from Chinnor took them to victory over Nottingham last night, helped by three tries when Nottingham were down to 14 players.

We had a mare last night. Just seemed to fall apart in the second half to be honest. But after 15 years of supporting Nottingham I’m used to it…!

I think all our injury issues and having to rely heavily on loan players is making our team a bit disjointed too- in some positions we don’t have any fit players of our own and there were a couple on the bench well out of position, who I might add did great.

That said I wasn’t impressed with some of the disparaging remarks from some Chinnor fans in front of me. I know that in the nature of sport there is always going to be some slating of the other team- and I’m not objecting to that at all- but there’s slating and there’s slating and that’s what I’m objecting to.
And as a lone female I didn’t appreciate the dirty looks from grown men because I was cheering for my team either, first time I’ve been there and probably going to be the last to be honest.
