Cornish Pirates 5-2 London Scottish - may change if I see the Quins selection
Ampthill 1-5 Nottingham - Nottingham should be strong enough whatever team they face.
Doncaster Knights 4-1 Ealing Trailfinders - going for an upset to try and keep some interest in the league, but will probably be wrong!
Hartpury 2-5 Bedford Blues - lots of points here
Caldy 4-1 Chinnor - a tough place to go
Coventry 5-0 Cambridge - one way traffic

Doncaster 5 - 2 Ealing
Hartpury 5 - 1 Bedford
Caldy 4 - 1 Chinnor
Coventry 5 - 0 Cambridge

Most people are predicting Donny to lose, and to be honest, with how both clubs’ respective seasons have been going, that is the logical pick. However, in the last 2-3 years we’ve had a habit of playing well against Ealing and turning them over. We seem to be a bad match-up for them. On our best day we can do a number on anyone in this league at home. Donny always get up and produce a performance in this fixture.

Where’s the fun if you are boringly brilliant every week!!. SmileBig smile. On a serious note this Donny team is one of the most perplexing ones to watch. On their day they are absolutely brilliant and look every inch like title contenders - when they are off it they sometimes look like they could be playing for 10 days and not score a try. The inconsistency in their performance is infuriating.

In spite of the loss we had excellent hospitality and we enjoyed our first visit to . There were over three hundred farmers at our lunch and tucking in to Cow Pie .
Ealing never fired on all cylinders and the wet conditions led to uncharacteristic mistakes, lots of dropped ball , missed kicks.

Donny we very good at spoiling ball and attacked with vigor.

That’s a gross assumption. I don’t think anyone of us can know what is happening inside a team. Ealing’s recent performances against Northampton and Exeter would SUGGEST that there is nothing much wrong with Ealing’s team mentality.

I’m not sure I agree with that CPK - you don’t go 11 from 13 and dig out wins from behind in places like Bedford and Penzance if you’re not a mentally strong team, not to mention Ealing’s Premiership Cup exploits. Today was a very tight game that could have gone either way but Donny were more clinical in the key moments and Ealing probably left some points out there. It is true that Donny match up better against Ealing than most other Championship sides but I would say that’s due to Donny probably playing smarter and neutralising Ealing’s strengths rather than anything mentality wise.

Well I base it on what I see. Ealing have quality players but when the going gets tough they seem to buckle a tad. I still think Ealing are the best team, skill wise, but when under the cosh that’s when they lose. I still firmly believe that they are going to be the winners of the league and should be promoted to the premiership.

It felt like watching Trailfinders women with all the missed kicks. Left 9 points on the field.

Ealing tried to play an expansive game and did score three tries all from wingers but too much spilt ball trying to play open rugby. Ealing did not adapt well enough when the heavy rain came down.

Craig Willis left his kicking boots at home . The wellingtons one size down.

Tough one to take for The Ravers Confused
But they/we lost and just have to take it and move on
Many contentious decisions by the referee, but that seems to be par for the course
Referee-assistants may as well revert to being called touch judges
