FT Hull 17 Caldy 31.
Hull will be disappointed at not gaining a losing bonus point this afternoon. After gifting Caldy 12 early points Hull fought back and at one stage levelled the scores at 17 -17 in fact should have gone into the lead at HT when a straight forward penalty kick came back off the post.
Caldy regained the lead with a converted try then increased their lead when poor tackling allowed the Caldy centre to run in under the posts, thus denying Hull the bonus point their performance deserved.
Caldy deserved their win in the end but Hull can hold their heads high and be pleased with their efforts against a very good Caldy team who should easily regain their place in N1 league by the end of the season.
Was great to catch up with fellow rolling maulers from the West and have a safe journey home Big Eddie and Pen 15. 👍

1st off ….... it's you're (going soft) not your Tongue

2nd …….. are you a tad bitter, being the only person who predicted a Hull victory? Big smile

3rd …… it  really doesn't look as though it's going to be your year  (Maybe Fylde's?) Wink

I can’t see past caldy for the title. definitely not stours season miles away

I agree NR. Caldy for the title. Stour are consistently inconsistent. Some great stuff but then someone does something very silly and gives the ball away. I can only imagine that Neil Mitchell is tearing his hair out. Mid table finish looks realistic at the moment.

This season has a long way to go and Caldy are not the only unbeaten team Fylde will have a big say and Sedgeley are a dangerous side , Injuries will have an impact on most clubs . Caldy were top of national 1 this time last year and finished in the bottom 3 when Injuries took their toll and the bigger sides just went to the nearest Premiership club for Academy players to cover. I think it is a big few weeks for Caldy which includes Sedgeley and Fylde things may be a bit clearer after that but never rule out any of the other clubs they are all competitive and deserve respect. You can only play the next game.
