Sedge 27 (4) Ionians 21 (1) Full time Well we made hard work of it when it should have been plain sailing however Ionians made the most of us being down to 14 then never let it drop and it was anyones game from them on. On reflection the intensity I’s displayed all game was rewarded with the final result. Close game too close for me😂 The first 20 minute display from both sides was brilliant rugby. Yes, must have been a great game to watch for any neutral supporters in the crowd. Have to applaud the running on and off the ball by the Sedge backs in the1st half. Lead to a couple of cracking tries. Your winger rightly won MoM. Very pleased with how we stuck at it after half time. Our forwards were in control and, had they rolled the last catch and drive in field instead of blind, we may have knicked it. Anyway, three tries each, a couple of penalties the difference. SJ Agreed, Sedges self inflicted silly drop out option!!!!! Which led immediately (two phases) later to a yellow a card and the end of Tigers momentum, gave I’s the platform to exploit things. And boy they did. Two tries in this period was just reward. Even back to 15 the choke hold I’s had on us was immense.
