Well the main focus of this week has to be at the bottom.

Great to have a Friday night game with a stream we can all watch, but the two games on Saturday hold great importance for the relegation battle ahead!

If we look at the bottom of the table.

I think we can already say good bye to TJ’s. Giving up another 50+ points last Saturday and with back to back road trips to DMP and Plymouth to come, they have scored the least and given away the most in the league, they have even stopped the post match Interviews on social media, there is no comeback with 6 games to go. Apart from the win at Blackheath, their points against record for last 7 games stands at 338 points, thats an average of 48.2 points a game, with the greatest respect in the world, they ain’t getting a lot from either of those games on the road, when both home sides need to win and with that record I think we can say the fat lady will have sung!

The way I see this panning out for the rest is as follows, of course there is every chance Ill be very very wrong but….

Leeds need this result more than DMP. I think DMP will be happy coming away with a bonus point knowing they have TJs and the max 5 the week after, that will see them clear of any trouble. That would in turn pull Leeds nearer Blackheath and still with 2 games in hand, it will also see DMP go up a place in the league.

I think Moseley are already ok, as I cannot seen Blackheath picking up another 6 points ( 7 if you go by games won), but Plymouth as with DMP know they have TJs at home just around the corner and that’s a 5 point must like DMP, so although I think Plymouth may lose this however they must come away with a point, be it 4 tries or ending within 7, which in turn will also see them raise a place In the league.

So come Sat night, I can see Leeds having closed the gap and both DMP and Plymouth go above Blackheath, even if they only both pick up a point each, they have both won 7 games, one more than the side from South East London
