Coventry have announced that Will Chudley (#9) has re-signed for next season.
Delighted to hear this. Sinces joining from the ashes of Worcester he has been an outstanding and experienced player. A quality retention to start the list.

Well, considering the ugly (😉) rumours we heard not so long ago, this is unexpected and welcome news.

Pirates have signed scrum half Ali Stacey on a short term contract following an injury crisis in that position. Ali is a product of Penzance and Newly RFC Junior section and currently plays for Cardiff Met University.

Coventry have announced the re-signing of James Tyas (2nd row) for 2023-24.

Another Cov player the pests were sniffing around?

Unfortunately signing a contract doesn't seem to mean much. I can think of a number of Pirates (most recently Josh Caulfield) who are still under contract when they are spirited away by a Premiership club. Truth is no club would stand in the way of someone who wanted to leave to play at a higher level.

Yes, we're all very well aware of all that.
