We had a mare last night. Just seemed to fall apart in the second half to be honest. But after 15 years of supporting Nottingham I’m used to it…!
I think all our injury issues and having to rely heavily on loan players is making our team a bit disjointed too- in some positions we don’t have any fit players of our own and there were a couple on the bench well out of position, who I might add did great. That said I wasn’t impressed with some of the disparaging remarks from some Chinnor fans in front of me. I know that in the nature of sport there is always going to be some slating of the other team- and I’m not objecting to that at all- but there’s slating and there’s slating and that’s what I’m objecting to. And as a lone female I didn’t appreciate the dirty looks from grown men because I was cheering for my team either, first time I’ve been there and probably going to be the last to be honest. |
