RM2

Good afternoon

I’m sure you wouldn’t mind me mentioning that tomorrow represents Sedges captain Matt Riley, playing his last ever home match for Sedge as he closes his account. He has been an absolute brilliant ambassador for our club and the game in general.

He has played over 457 times for Sedge and represented English Counties and Lancashire with Pride and honour.

He is a great bloke on and off the field always giving his all for the cause for the Claret and Gold.

He certainly will be missed on the playing front but I’m sure he will play a big part in Sedge’s future.

Well played Matt, Enjoy your day and your Saturdays off πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

All the best

That's a hell of a shift from Matt Riley, is it true that he carried on playing until ST finally bought him a drink?!

Nice article on Rugby Pass about him (MR not ST!!)

Good to hear from you.

That’s probably true about the drinkLOLLOLLOL

Matt has been exceptional. The article sums him up brilliantly. He will be getting a great plaudits over the weekend, and from my perspective he has earned every single one.

Outstanding Matt.

Slap across the face. Ref yellow carded him but touch judge spoke to ref. Brought him back on to send him off

Thanks RM2 and what a great series of matches. I certainly didn't see some of those results coming. Rotherham beating newly crowned champions Richmond and Leicester Lions taking what could be a very big step towards Nat 1 survival stand out. Well done to all teams.

Also, congratulations to Tonbridge Juddians who have now won Nat 2 East and will be promoted back to Nat 1, where they spent one season a few years ago. Good to have even more geographical spread in this great league down into Kent again. Nat 2 West will go to the final round to see who wins promotion between Clifton and Camborne, both are strong sides.

I’m not sure every club will agree with your pleasure at trips to Kent being added to the mileage charts, although Clifton must be firm favourites to come up from N2W, which will shave 350 miles off some clubs’ away sorties.
I have to say that Esher don’t seem to have fought tooth and nail to stay up.

It’s a gap week next week DKF. All being played on the 26th.

It should be an entertaining one that’s for sure.

Either way I wouldn’t have thought many people would have tipped Roth to finish top 3 this season, having only been promoted the season before. Even if we lose we can’t finish lower than 3rd.

One of the best games in years at Clifton Lane. We showed that we aren't just a 'shove it up your jumper' team, and Richmond showed why they are Champions. They played most of the game with 14 men, but you couldn't tell. A great advert for the game.

Disgraceful that Rotherham aren't being promoted because of Worcester Phoenix

They are currently only guaranteed third place.
There is the small mater of winning at the Rock if they want to finish second.

I would check with Nick Easter that he has been fully paid, if not there may yet be an opening.
But I would also say, be careful what you wish for.

I mean legendary in that it is an event that happens after every home game. I think this element is fantastic.

If you like that by the way, you should like this too. Try lights of the game from the air. The movement from both teams is incredible. Cracking footage.
