Here is my biased one eyed view of events at Well Hall today

Well injuries kicked in today big time and we had a winger starting on the flank a prop as back row cover our stand in 10 from last week didn’t make it through the warm up and a replacement was dragged from the bar (that will teach him to turn up for a beer) but hopefully we will get some back for next weeks trip to Guernsey amazing the healing power of a weekend away. The first half was efficient if not outstanding with the bonus point wrapped up before the half hour with us dominant in all facets of the game. the second half was the complete opposite pretty poor and barely functional but never under any real pressure except self inflicted problems which raised the frustration and the penalty count It was only lit up by a lovely try from Jake Hennessy who scored 16 points today. It didn’t help with 2 second half yellow cards one fairly easy for high tackle the second following a team warning which was fair enough but pity it wasn’t the same in the first half when oaks were under similar caution. That said we started the day with a depleted team and still got the outcome we wanted so that’s a positive.
The other pleasing factor was Worthing beating Dorking which means we have increased our lead at the top of the table to 13 points. No easy weeks coming up starting next week with a first trip to Guernsey.

As you say a one-eyed biased view.

OK when YCs awarded to Worthing last week not when you are on the receiving end this.

Sounds like you were missing your influences this week.

one eyed - yes.
Result not in doubt but give oppo some some credit in 2nd half.
