| HT Chinnor 10 Plymouth 15. Chinnor backs not seeing a lot of the ball in the part of the game I watched but went close at the end of the 1st half but a knock on meant they had to settle for a pen. |

DMP 10 Sedge 15 Halftime An excellent game so far, with two excellent running rugby teams giving there all. The first 20 minutes it was all DMP with some sublime excellent running rugby. Sedge had to withstand a torrid opening 5 minutes and things got worse with a well worked try. More pressure followed as Sedge struggled on the re-starts missing tackles from some great direct rugby from the home side. Sedges defence kept it out put in one phase it was deemed illegal and a penalty for DMP and YC for a Sedge player changed the dynamic of the game. Down to 14 Sedge started to run the ball and it was during this phase of play where Sedge were in the dominance. Pressure followed, pressure on the DMP line and it resulted in a yellow card for the home player. Sedge soon took advantage with a penalty and two tries with one converted. As the game neared the 40 minute mark, DMP were taking game back to Sedge camping in the 22 until Sedge stopped the momentum and the half time whistle followed. This is anyone’s game as it stands but what a good advert for National One Rugby. Let’s hope the second half stays the same. All the best ST

Too echo the above comments from neverbintochinnor, Plymouth were deserved winners today in an arm wrestle with Chinnor, strangling the life out of the game in the middle section of the second period, scoring a penalty try, winding down the clock and reducing Chinnor to 13. It wasn't pretty at times, but very effective. On the other hand, Plymouth had looked very creative in the backs in the first half. For Chinnor to have only lost by 5 points perhaps says a lot about their resiliance, claiming a losing point when 2 players down. Anyway, Albion now top the table and are there to be shot at, and as everyone says, what a wonderfully competitive division this is, as three of the top four lost today !
