Blues go up the slope and into the wind 2nd half. Blues probably should be more up and have denied Pirates the ball. Pirates are down to 14 for the first 5ish mins.

1-5 On the upside - Cov continue to score tries. On the downside - Cov continue to ship tries. The race for second continues, though. Cov may have a slight advantage over Bedford having played two fewer home games (although one of those is vs Ealing, I think). Couldbe an interesting run-in.

Frustrating day at the office for Cambridge. Outplayed Hartpury for periods, but came away with nothing. Should have had one more try, and two bonus points. The ref could have given a penalty try but gave a penalty and a card, and we messed up the subsequent tap move. Could have had two more and the win had we been just a little sharper. Several players were playing for a shirt, the new DoR was watching. Not sure if they did enough to claim one. |
