Yup - a bit like Olver missing when last week he was kicking them from everywhere. I don't know what happened in the changing but we came out half of what we were the first half - sure Cov came out fired up but our fire was doused. Well for a short while we are top of the table, we shall take that for now.
Getting an old grunt in the front row helped (lots of kids in the side having lost a lot of experience from last season) and having the benefit of a stiff breeze in the second stanza didn't hurt.

2 good tries for Blues and a bit of a shocker conceding, basically missed a restart and the Hartpury player ran 10 metres unopposed.

Bedford 30-13. 3 really good tries for Bedford

Hartpury will have a citing next week. Just had a player make a clear red card offence and get away without even a yellow.

sounds like a good comeback by "the students" - they snuck a BP with a few mins to play, then lost it thanks to a BB penalty, then failed to grab it back with last kick...

Disagree that it was a red.

Blues will be kicking themselves for not getting the BP.  Blues did their best to throw it away.  The Hartpury maul got them back into the game and had a few opportunities but failed with the final pass.

I was just watching the highlights from Donacaster-Coventry ahead of tonight's match...how has no one else mentioned Coventry's away kit? It's purple-pink. My eyes were bleeding, but my 9 year old daughter thought it was pretty.
