I saw the game. Club definitely wanted the win more  and Jake Lloyd on the wing, the pack and Freddie Gabbitas at fly-half were superb. Speed with ball distribution and competitiveness at the breakdown stretched RP to breaking point.  RP employed the rolling maul to good effect in second half but dogged defending by the Club sealed the win.  Game highlights are on YouTube at

Well,well,well,

I now realise just how little I actually know about Caldy. Changed line up on their website and it appears a very large number of Caldy supporters may be going to the Rock

Glad that Caldy have made a statement on air horns they are not funny and not clever .....I hope that the Caldy fans heed the request. I don't want my day out in London to result in a splitting headache

The Roslyn V Caldy game should be a great occasion with a large crowd . . . amazing what promotion ( and relegation) does to the excitement levels . . . . no that the RFU understand that!!!!! From what I hear there will also be a lot of neutral supporters there due to the magnitude of the game!

I don't know how many from Caldy will actually be travelling ....it may be the hundreds suggested but I doubt it ...........so I hope all the neutrals going shout for Caldy we are only a very very small club and we will need all the support we can get....

I know that there has been a bit of a kerfuffle with the travel arrangements .........our Graham was in charge of arranging the tickets to Euston but he delegated the job to Alan Roberts who passed it on to his secretary who must have misheard what was being proposed.

Anyway the up shot is that there are a lot of Caldy folks now spending the weekend in Texas.

Knowing the nature of some of those particular Caldy supporters all I can say is "Huston you have a Problem'

I think the most of rugby and most of London knows there is a game on at the Rock tomorrow. Seriously impressive marketing from Rosslyn Park.....I think they want to win this.

Eddie, remember to take out an additional mortgage before buying a burger.

However, the sit down meal was actually a very reasonable price - though possibly a little late to book it now.

Last time I was there, there was a beer festival on as well.

Some taxi drivers get confused if you ask to be collected from Rosslyn Park FC, especially ones not from London, they do not expect proper H posts and think FC means goals with a net.

Personally, my head is rooting for RP 4-0, as it I think we can beat RP on our visit to the Rock, but cannot catch Caldy if you keep winning. But it would be great to see Caldy make two promotions. Though any of the top six teams would grace the Championship.

The 20 pound Michelin Star Park Burger does include an introduction to the finest wine bars in Mayfair - one can retire to the Clermont Club and discuss the match with A list celebrities who think you are super amazing to coin a cute phrase that they use.
If you're not on the pitch you can't win the game

Still reeling from the shock of the game at Blackheath - Park never showed up and our indiscipline kept us from ever getting back in the game. A thoroughly deserved win for them.

As to this week Park has gone all out to bring in support. The U6s and U7s are even playing at half time so there will be a sea of red and white hoops at The Rock.

Last week will have stung the team so I’m expecting to see a turnaround. The Caldy game has been heavily anticipated as a season decider. It definitely is that, until next week when the next game will be viewed as such.

Bishop's Stortford 4-0 Blackheath (not being bitter I just think last week will have taken a lot out of the Club squad)
Leeds Tykes 5-0 Cambridge
Plymouth Albion 5-0 Tonbridge Juddians
Rams 5-0 Birmingham Moseley
Rosslyn Park 5-0 Caldy (hoping sunshine and 3G play their part)
Sale FC 4-1 Cinderford
Taunton 5-0 Chinnor

If I understand it correctly if Caldy get any points today or stop RP getting 5 then the league is in their hands?
